In-Home Visits

Beauty Bus’ core program provides in-home beauty and grooming services, free of charge, to men, women and children whose illness or condition prevents them from accessing a salon or spa. This program is available in Los Angeles County within the following parameters:

  • North – 118 Freeway
  • South – Culver Blvd.
  • East – 110 Freeway
  • West – Ocean/Kanan

Volunteers are not required to travel in excess of 5 miles from their home or place of employment.  We will make every effort to visit qualifying patients and caregivers within Los Angeles County and outside our designated service area dependent upon volunteer availability.

We hope and intend to extend our service areas in the future.

Beauty Bus Foundation’s current In-Home services include:

HAIR:

  • Haircut and Blowdry/Styling
  • Men’s Haircut and Blowdry/Styling
  • Blowdry and Styling

HANDS AND FEET:

  • Spa Manicure
  • Spa Pedicure
  • Men’s Manicure
  • Men’s Pedicure

FACE:

  • Facial Treatments
  • Make-up

We offer one treatment for the client and one for the primary caregiver during each visit. Clients may receive four services in each 12 month period free of charge. To receive more than four services, we ask that clients make a personally meaningful donation to the organization so that we can continue to serve those in need. Clients may receive a maximum of 12 visits in each 12 month period.
